The Responsible Driver System enables mobile carriers and enterprises to address the serious worldwide problem of distracted driving caused by their users managing and controlling calls, texting, and web browsing in a moving vehicle.

In contrast to other offerings in the market, Tango’s solution is a network-based application that works with any mobile phone operating on a participating mobile network, with no software client required and no changes in user behavior.

Responsible Driving is enforceable, verifiable, and cannot be circumvented by the user. Policies and restrictions can be dynamically changed in the network and instantly applied to a user’s subscription, based on location, local regulations, time-of-day, day-of-week, driving record, traffic information, or other information.

The solution uses M2M (machine-to-machine) mobile technology and can be integrated with other vehicle telematics solutions such as Usage Based Insurance (UBI), Roadside Assistance, Fleet Management, etc.
