Tango Networks to Participate at Connected Cars 2012

Frisco, TX, USA – November 13, 2012 – Tango Networks, a leading technology provider that enables enterprises to embrace the power of Mobile Unified Communications with any mobile phone, today announced its participation in the Connected Cars 2012 conference, which will be held at the Fairmont Dallas Hotel in Dallas, TX on November 13, 2012.

Connected Cars 2012 is a unique, one day event that focuses on the evolving role of telecommunications in the automotive industry. The event moves beyond just the traditional ‘fleet management’ discussion and expands upon the growing consumer opportunity in addition to enterprise – to address the rich content and services available in the industry.

Andrew Silver, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Tango Networks will be participating in a panel discussion entitled: “How Will Industry Players Work Together to Deliver Truly Excellent Customer Experience in the Automotives of Now and The Future”. The panel takes place at 10:00am and will highlight the merges between personal mobile devices and the automotive industry.

“I’m pleased to attend Connected Cars 2012 and am looking forward to furthering the conversation surrounding effective and comprehensive responsible driving technology,” said Mr. Silver. “Tango Networks’ Responsible Driver System enables mobile carriers and enterprises to address the serious worldwide problem of distracted driving with solutions to manage and control mobile device usage when operating a vehicle.”

The Tango solution enables carriers to integrate their mobile network with enterprise Unified Communications (UC), PBX or hosted Centrex systems, which means enterprise users can enjoy familiar UC/PBX features – such as integrated voice mail, single number, presence, and short-digit dialing – and advanced Mobile Unified Communications (Mobile UC) applications while using the mobile device of their choosing.
